Groups and Private Events

Group Activities and Private Events in Lampasas, Texas

Some of our best days are the ones where a whole group takes over the tables. Field trips, scout troops, coworkers, church groups, clubs and friends all fit naturally around a creative project here in downtown Lampasas.

Groups we welcome

  • School field trips and homeschool groups
  • Scout troops working toward a badge or a fun night out
  • Workplace team building and staff appreciation
  • Church groups, youth groups and community organizations
  • Girls' nights, birthday groups and friend gatherings
  • Clubs, book groups and standing get-togethers

Planning a group visit

Walk-ins are always welcome, but groups of six or more should contact the shop in advance so we can prepare enough space, supplies and staff for your visit. A quick call or text is usually all it takes.

Let us know your preferred date, how many people you expect, the ages in the group and roughly how much time you have. We will help you land on a project that fits your window and your budget.

Private events

Private events are not offered on Fridays, Sundays or Saturday evenings. If you only need a table for your group rather than the whole shop, a regular group visit during shop hours works well too.

  • Private use of the entire shop for your group
  • A dedicated host to help your guests through the project
  • Outside food and drinks are welcome
  • All private events have a $250 minimum purchase before tax
  • Available Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., subject to availability

What everyone will do

Most groups paint pottery, because it is easy for every skill level and everyone leaves with a keepsake. Fused glass is a popular option for ages eight and up. Pottery pieces begin at $18, and the marked price includes paints, supplies, glazing and firing.

Painted pieces are glazed, kiln fired and typically ready for pickup in 7–14 days. For groups traveling in from Kempner, Copperas Cove, Killeen, Burnet or Lometa, we are glad to coordinate a single pickup for the whole group.

And yes — there is ice cream. Blue Bell and Hershey's scoops, sundaes, shakes and floats are always available, art project or not.
