A few quick answers before you create, celebrate or stop in for a scoop in Lampasas.

What are your regular shop hours?

Regular shop hours are Sunday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hours may change for holidays, private events and special occasions, so check our Google listing or contact the shop for the latest updates.

Do I need a reservation to paint pottery?

No. Walk-ins are welcome during regular shop hours. If your group has six or more painters, please contact the shop in advance so we can prepare enough space and supplies.

How much does pottery painting cost?

Pottery pieces begin at $18, and the marked price on the piece is the full price. Your paints, brushes, supplies, glazing and kiln firing are all included — there is no separate studio fee. Current pieces and pricing are listed on our Square page.

How long does pottery painting take?

Most guests spend about one to two hours painting. There is no time limit, so take as long as you like. Younger children often finish faster, and detailed painters are welcome to linger.

When will my pottery be ready?

Pottery is typically ready for pickup in 7–14 days. Our kilns must have a full load before firing, so timing depends on shop volume and kiln scheduling. We will contact you as soon as your piece is finished.

Can adults paint pottery?

Yes, and plenty do. Adults come in for date nights, girls' nights, quiet afternoons and creative time with friends. No artistic experience is needed, and our shop team is glad to help you get started.

Do you host birthday parties?

Yes. Private birthday parties include private use of the entire shop, a dedicated party host and outside food and drinks are welcome. All private parties have a $250 minimum purchase before tax. Party times are Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., subject to availability.

Do you offer private events or group activities?

Yes. We host field trips, homeschool groups, scout troops, team building, church and community groups, girls' nights and private events. Groups of six or more should contact the shop ahead of time so we can prepare space and supplies.

Can we purchase ice cream without painting pottery?

Absolutely. You are always welcome to stop in just for ice cream. We serve Blue Bell and Hershey's ice cream in cups and house-made waffle cones, plus sundaes, milkshakes and craft-soda floats. No art project required.

What ages can participate?

Pottery painting works for a wide range of ages, and our team can help younger artists choose an approachable piece. Fused glass projects are recommended for ages eight and older. Camps and classes list their own age guidance when they are scheduled.
